jukeen
behind the project jukeen (pronounced jh-uw-k-iy-n)
is dejan cosic, an ambient/electronic recording artist,
based in maribor, slovenia. influences for his music
he finds in nature, time, space, feelings,
life - everywhere around us, longing to create an
unique and timeless sound. he always goes his own
way in a particular era of his life, what is certainly
audible in his musical style. he often uses his field
recorded material to add natural ambience to his
tracks, but also likes to add melodic elements, like
the ones of acoustic instruments or vocals. he is
mainly working alone, but is sometimes collaborating
with other musicians or artists, who are sharing
the same musical idea – and this idea is the very main
core of his musical creativity. at the end, music is not
only for making one's stay in this place better, easier
and more bearable, but to make it meaningful and
reasonable. at the end, music should speak for itself.
