fiction city
fiction city is a 3-piece art project originally formed
by mike belov |aka mike wayne| in 2007. now it
consists of a musician, a video engineer and a visual
artist. mostly focused on music, f.c. often supplements
the tracks with videos and unique artworks.
the music can be defined as ambient/psybient/idm.
however, mike himself doesn't take the 'genres bustle'
too serious and his primary definitions of the project's
music are 'atmospheric', 'surrealistic' and 'sincere'.
this is the reason for various kinds of guitars, vocal
patterns and other non-typical elements to happen
|though not really often and not really thoroughly|.
there won't be a live show of fiction city in the next
100-200 years - it's a purely studio project. however,
there have already been art exhibitions featuring all
3 components of f.c. - paintings, visuals and music.
